Friends,
As I sit here today, I was thinking about how we may experience this coming year, for it is going to be quite a ride. Many of us may feel like we are heading into the centre of a storm. Yet ... sometimes the centre is where we can find the calmest spot. Being 'in the storm' is not the danger - it's being part of the storm that is where the danger lies. To be an observer - calm and centered - is also about not getting entangled in the fury of the storm. And some storms are natural, of course, whilst others are human-created and intentional. I wrote these few lines:
The center of the cyclone.
It’s the eye in the storm.
The calm seat of the observer
The only dry seat in the house.
I know that some people will resist this idea of being an observer, thinking that it is a passive or a weak position. 'What we need,' they might say, 'is action - resistance and revolt. We need to push back!' And there will be those people whose roles are to push back against physical forces. And it will be such people who view the world as only existing through physical forces. Then there are others who perceive the world as a combination of physical and metaphysical forces - of events happening beyond the ken of our 'regular vision.' All these 'happenings' are in play; and there are many processes going on that are beyond this physical dimension. Of course, our attention gets pulled into the physical events - and deliberately so - for this is where humans become most entangled and distracted. Now, I would say, is the time to gain some inner ground. That is, to get ourselves prepared inwardly. First, we need to get our own house in order.
This brings me to the subject of Trust. Who can we trust in this age of information overload? Not only overload but, more importantly, mis-information and dis-information. And I am not only talking about the mainstream information channels.
There has been a huge surge in 'alternative' media in the last 2-3 years - do you think all these channels are legitimate? That none of them have been arranged, sponsored, or manipulated by disingenuous agendas? What we need now - especially now - is discernment, intuition and to trust our inner knowing ... like never before. There is a great deal of predictive programming out there. Also, people are exploiting our hunger 'to know' by using clickbait tactics and profiteering from spurting out predictions when ... when we also should be prepared for the unpredictable. That is why I decided to discuss this subject in my latest 'Perspectives' talk - Unpredictable (2024) - click link image below:
Last week, sitting at my desk, I doodled and a few words came to my mind. I wrote them down - here they are:
Don’t listen To what they tell you
Don’t listen To the mainstream news
The television Only tells-a-vision
But it’s not what you need to hear.
Let’s be clear: Your soul is your own.
Your spirit is not for taking.
Staying clean inside Will keep you fine
And steer you clearly In these times ahead.
Be well. Be sane. Stay grounded.
And I’ll see you Down the line.
I shared these words with my musical colleague & friend Moin (Dedfela) and within a few minutes he had created some music for these words ... and then he invited DJ Yona to add some music to it. Literally, within a few hours we had created a song track together - isn't it nice when these things just come together naturally?! And then I decided to make a short video to accompany the song track - links below for the song & video.

Finally, a recent video of a reading I made from the Mother’s Agenda of June 1958:

As always on this journey, I don’t feel I am stepping alone. And as long as I can share with others, then this makes all the effort worthwhile.
Walk on, friends …
Warmest - Kingsley
