Thank you for this essay, Kingsley. You are advancing in the pathways developed by Colin Wilson and Alfred North Whitehead...British philosophical luminaries of recent date. Your sense of cyclical time patterns and of historical interconnexions are revelatory of a mindscape most highly activated and deeply engaged. Yes, I must admit to having suffered an American education which did not provide those insights into nihilism as the skin boil of contemporary general consciousness...or the lack thereof...as symptomatic of these closing stanzas of the Epoch of Kali Yuga.
Cheers, Carstie.... certainly Wilson's & Whitehead's footsteps are very large ones to follow... yet I do find that aspects of cyclical time patterns and their interconnections are useful for looking at evolutionary trends, in that it seems less likely to me that we move in a purely linear line... too many 'rise & falls' in past epochs for that....and we're too open to major catastrophes too... it seems we move through Ages, that have their ages (as Shakespeare would say) ....
Cheers...it does seem that a form of nihilism (neo-nihilism) will be awaiting those people who don't take the current opportunities to make conscious shifts in perception and responses to life....

As I read this article, I was moved to an awareness and internal question. What if, this cyclic spiral of cosmic existence, and the earth’s willingness to let go of her gravity (magnetic and emotional) and connect even more with our Stars radiance (solar storms of nutrinos) is more simply and magnificently orchestrated to enable our humanism to reconnect with our inner-powerful magnetism, our hearts as the electric vibrational communication environments which can resonate truth though our nervous system and predict our next steps faster than any external technology?
Thanks for your comment, Lori! Ultimately, the cosmos in which we exist is highly intelligent - or so I understand it as this way. There is high order, and even purpose (ie, evolution or a developmental direction). And so, all major phenomena occurs or exists within this context, and such phenomena is utilized (by forces greater than humanity), for constructive purposes... thus, despite the chaos on our mini-micro level of existence/perception, I am sure that these shifts and changes are - in the long term - necessary for the orchestration of human & planetary development.
