I feel it's important to have some grasp of the bigger picture - and where it may be taking us - so that we sense there is hope and optimism, and also so we can disengage ourselves from the micro-narratives that are continually pulling us in (and pulling us down).... greater things are on the horizon, eventually....

Like it seems that the time bending through the media portal is working against the natural tide of human evolution. i.e feds interest rates magically fix economy and data always goes up... Yet most are starving both spiritually and physically in a distractive process of the mass web of lies that is the server square liguid crystal divination tool in front of the worlds eyes. The Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest tik tok'r of all.
Magically conforming us all in to the wicked witches of the WEST. Ideas and conspiracies are merely flying monkeys of the hanuman mind. we are losing our secrets which should by virtue change us all with the panopticon big brother. Yet we are inventive beings making more Djin and Tonics for our dillution of the trauma feilds so that it looks great on paper and even better on a phone or tablet. Maybe the Phoenix wil rise after the volcano resets the worlds arrogance or maybe not. My bet is that transformation is a gamble at best for a lower form of reincarnation that makes up the majority of first experience incarnations that make up the 8 billion. Or I could be wrong and this is the hot air that makes balloons on the stage of life that have zero results....
As you say, Creative Sax, we are immersed in a mirror ball of a world, mesmerized by its glitterings amidst the tick-tockerings... and so many vacant eyes are staring out from hungry or empty souls... the Djinn & tonics need to be well mixed for where we may be heading to .... fare well, fellow pilgrim....
